KINGSTON — On voting day, residents of Kingston will be asked to authorize the Town to establish a Heritage Commission whose role is to help recognize, manage and protect the historical and cultural resources of the community. In support of this effort, the Kingston Planning Board will be sponsoring an informational meeting on this topic at their next meeting on February 5th.
At the meeting, Nadine Peterson, Preservation Planner with the NH Division of Historical Resources will present information regarding roles and responsibilities of a Heritage Commission and respond to any questions. Nadine’s presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m., in the main meeting room in Town Hall.
