NEWTON — Save the Date! The Memorial Elementary PTO will host the Harlem Wizards vs. the Sanborn Staff (team name TBD) on March 5. Game time is 6:30 p.m. in the Sanborn Regional High School Gymnasium, Kingston.
The Harlem Wizards are a renowned basketball team best known for their trick hoops and alley-oops! This event was a sold-out success in 2010, proving to be a fun-filled community event that everyone enjoyed!
Ticket Prices: All seats are General Admission: $12.00 in advance, $15.00 at the door. Advanced tickets will be available for purchase in mid-February. Dates and locations will be posted on our website (http://web.sau17.org/schools /memorial-elementary, click on PTO link). Tickets will also be available for purchase on the Harlem Wizards website.
Local business owners interested in helping to sponsor this event are needed. All proceeds from the game go directly to providing the students of Memorial Elementary with enrichment programs and funds for field trip assistance.
