Recycling Fundraiser

CHESTER – NH Lions Camp Pride, along with the Chester Lions, will hold an Electronic and Small/large Appliances (white goods) Recycling Fundraiser on Sat., October, 27, rain or shine, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at G & P Pizzaria, 692 Raymond Road, in Chester. Residents from all surrounding towns are welcome! Funds raised will go toward the support of Lions Camp Pride for Special Needs Children.

You can recycle just about anything! Now that fall is here, get rid of those old computers, printers, copiers, TVs, VCRs, stereos, washers, dryers, air conditioners, and refrigerators that are taking up valuable space in your home.

For a small fee, any appliance or electronic item that is difficult to discard or cannot be put on the curb for pick up by the town, can be recycled at this charity fundraiser and, in the process, ensure that handicapped children will have a summer they’ll never forget. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Fees are: computers/full systems - $20.00, single components - $10.00; telephones - $1.00; small appliances (microwaves, printers, fax machines, etc) - $10.00; washers, dryers, stoves - $15.00; refrigerators, water heaters, freezers, air conditioners - $15.00; Tvs/small-$15.00, Tvs/large-$20.00. If needed, ask about local pick-up.

The Lions look forward to seeing you and thank you for your help in deferring the cost of operating Lions Camp Pride for Special Needs Children. For more information about the Lions or the camp, please contact Sam Longbrook at 603-329-5603, or Jeri Maynard at 603-883-8565.
