Craft/Food Fair

ATKINSON — The Atkinson Community Center is now ready to welcome the residents and neighbors back to its favorite gathering place! Please join us in celebrating the grand re-opening of the Community Center on Sat., December 14, at 9:15 a.m., at 4 Main Street, Atkinson. There will be a brief indoor ceremony followed by an official ribbon cutting at the doors opening up the large banquet room. The Community Center has been closed to the public since the late spring due to ongoing renovations, including the replacement of the floor in the large banquet room. Don’t miss the unveiling of one of the busiest buildings in Atkinson.

Immediately following the ribbon cutting will be the first annual Craft and Food Fair being hosted by the Atkinson Women’s Civic Club, The Atkinson Recreation Commission and the Atkinson Farmers Market from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Finish up your gift shopping, and party meal purchases with all of the fantastic variety of artisan crafts and delicious foodie options. There will be over twenty-five vendors in attendance, and also there will be wonderful raffle basket. Be sure to pick up your tickets at the event or in advance at the Atkinson Tree Lighting on December 1st at the Fire Department and Commons.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to spend the morning with your family attending a celebration of the reopening of a very important community building, while also finishing up your holiday shopping - all while supporting your local artisans and farmers!
