Republicans to Meet

ATKINSON — The Atkinson Republican Committee invites you to attend the first meeting of 2013. The meeting will be held on Thurs., February 28, 6:30 p.m., at the Kimball Library.

The first order of business will be to elect the Committee Members for a two year term. In order to vote you must be a resident of Atkinson, and a registered Atkinson Republican, who attended at least one Atkinson GOP meeting in 2012.

After the vote, an interesting topic: NH Casino. State Senator, and chairman of the finance committee, Chuck Morse will give us a better understand of the current state senate bill to authorize one casino gambling location in NH. He will explain in detail what the legislation is, and then follow up with a Q&A session.

The leading location currently under consideration is Rockingham Park. Should this legislation pass with the support of Governor Hassan it could be a big financial benefit to all of Rockingham County.

All Republican and independent voters are welcome…and yes, interested Democrats are welcome too. There will be coffee and munchies available. They anticipate a larger than usual attendance, so please email gene@atkgop.org if you plan to attend. They want to ensure they have enough for everyone!
