P.A.C.E. Luncheon
PLAISTOW – Plaistow Area Commerce Exchange (P.A.C.E.) members and area businesses are invited to the P.A.C.E. Luncheon on Thurs., February 11, 11:30 a.m. at the Atkinson Country Club. The cost for lunch is $15.00 per person. The menu will consist of Grilled Provencal (marinated spinach, artichokes and plum tomatoes) served with herb white rice.
Guest speakers are Christine Clarke-Swift, MS of OnTrac Coaching. The topic will be “Fine Tuning Communication” and Susan Kuhn will speak about the upcoming “Relay for Life”.
P.A.C.E. is a group of business owners and representatives from Plaistow and its neighboring towns of Atkinson, Danville, Hampstead, Kingston, Newton and Sandown as well as other local communities whose purpose is to establish a line of communication throughout the business community which it represents. Everyone is urged to bring a supply of business cards to exchange.

Please Note the “Snow Policy” for the Atkinson Country Club: If a major storm is predicted the day before the event, the Sales Manager will call their client to ask if they would like to postpone their event. If so, an alternate date will be scheduled. If requested, a decision can be made the day of the event by 9:00 a.m. No cancellations or refunds will be granted; clients may only postpone the event.
If the Board decides to cancel the PACE meeting, I will send out an email either the day before or the day of the meeting by 9:00 a.m. In the case of inclement weather, please check your email.

Rockingham Craftsmen Disband
The Rockingham Craftsmen, a non-profit organization, founded in 1966, has recently disbanded after forty-three years.

They donated the remaining funds in their treasury to the NH Food Bank. This gift of $3,200 was presented to Lisa Merrill-Burzak by Rockingham Craftsmen members Steve Brogan and Reid Bunker. -

A fundraiser for young Cole Stoddard, 4, of Sandown, will be held on Thurs., September 9, from 7:00-11:00 p.m., at the Atkinson Resort and Country Club.

Volunteers Needed for Relay Race
KINGSTON- The Bakie PTA will once again support the Reach the Beach Relay Race. The race starts in Bretton Woods and ends at the Hampton Beach State Park. The D.J. Bakie Elementary School will be a transition station for a third year. This station will provide food, drinks and rest for the relay teams.

EPPING — The 10th annual Highnote Festival, a non-profit benefit for the Adam McPhee Memorial Foundation, will be held on Sat., September 11, from 2:00 p.m. until dark, at 173 Prescott Road in Epping.
