DANVILLE - The Danville Democratic Committee will meet on Mon., March 18 to elect town Democratic committee officers and state delegates to the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s 2013 Midterm and 2014 State Conventions.
Local Democratic Committee officers and delegates have a vote at the annual conventions, to approve the party platform, and vote on other matters that come before the conventions.
There is no cost to attend this caucus and is open to members of the public who are registered Democrats. Any registered Democrat, regardless of past political experience, may run for an office or delegate position. “This is an opportunity to get involved with local and state-level grassroot politics. The elections last November again showed the importance of every voice and every vote,” said Sarah Weston, the Danville Democratic Chair. The March 18 caucus will be held at 7:00 p.m., at 86 Colby Rd., Danville.
