Tree of Light Ceremony

NEWBURYPORT, MA —The Anna Jaques Hospital Aid Association cordially invites the public to its Annual Tree of Light Ceremony. The event will take place at the Highland Avenue entrance to the hospital, on Mon., December 3, at 5:00 p.m. The Newburyport High School Varsity Chorus will provide music, and all are welcome to join in the singing. After the music, light refreshments will be served in the Higgins Conference Room.

A donation puts both a light on the tree and a loved one’s name on the Tree of Light Scroll, to be displayed in the lobby and on the AJH.org website, and to be published in the Aid’s winter newsletter.

For each name, there is a minimum donation of $5.00 Checks may be made payable to the AJH Aid Association and mailed c/o Volunteer Office, 25 Highland Avenue, Newburyport, MA 01950.  They may also be dropped off at that address.

In order to ensure publication on the Tree of Light Scroll, the names of those being memorialized or honored should be received by November 16.

This event has become a community tradition; it is a meaningful way to remember loved ones, to embrace the season of giving and to brighten the winter months.
