Beer & Chili Festival

EXETER — Love beer? So do we! The 2012 Exeter Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival will take place alongside the 14th Annual Fall Festival, a long standing Exeter tradition that includes local crafters, vendors and street entertainment. So pack up the family and come experience all the fun Exeter has to offer!

Breweries and beer enthusiasts from the region will gather at Swasey Parkway in downtown Exeter, on Sat., October 20, from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., for a sampling of fresh beers of all colors, styles and tastes. A few of the 26 breweries that will be attending this year’s fest are Peak Organic, Shipyard, Tuckerman’s, Samuel Adams, Long Trail, Woodchuck, and local favorites Smuttynose, Throwback Brewery, and Blue Lobster Brewery.

Vote for your favorite chili as 14 local restaurants such as The Holy Grail, EPOCH, The 401, The Green Bean, and The Old Salt enter their house recipes in hopes of becoming the first Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival fan favorite! Entertainment will be provided for both young and old. Cost of the Beer and Chili festival is $25.00, which includes a sampling glass, 8 sampling tickets, and 5 chili tickets. For more details or to purchase your tickets, go to www.powderkegbeerfest.com . This event is guaranteed to sell out so get your tickets early!

The Exeter Powder Keg Beer & Chili Festival is proudly sponsored by The Provident Bank, in partnership with the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce and Exeter Parks and Recreation.
