Closing your Gardens

Carriage Towne News

---- — HAMPSTEAD – What a wonderful summer for gardening! Do you ever consider what to do at the end of the season? Should you leave all the vegetation for the birds? Or is it better to cut everything back? The Hampstead Garden Club will meet on Wed., October 17, 7:00 p.m. at the Congregational Church, Hadley Hall to learn about closing your gardens for the winter. Joining us will be Linda Zukos from Churchill’s Gardens, Exeter, voted the Best Garden Center in NH by customers for 2011. Linda will present how to close gardens for the winter, planting bulbs, outside containers and planning for next year. You will hear about new and upcoming events at Churchill’s as well. This event is open to the public. All are welcome.
