Halloween at the Castle

HAVERHILL, MA – Winnekenni Castle’s Haunted Halloween has begun! The Cataclysmic Castle of Fear is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through October 28 as well as Thurs., October 25, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The cost is $18.00 per person, $10.00 for children age 12 and under. Discount coupons are available online. Sunday Nights are Family Nites: Pay only $40.00 for two Adults and two Children (age 12 and under). This attraction is not recommended for children under age 8.

Don’t miss the Children’s Halloween Costume Party on Sun., October 21, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. Kids come in Costume! There will be games and prizes, a family hayride, a photo spot inside the castle and more! Activities will be provided by Little Sprouts Haverhill-NECC. The cost is $8.00 for Children and $5.00 for Adults. A Howlin’ Halloween Tent Party with music, dancing and fun will be held on Fri., October 19, from 7:00-10:30 p.m. Come enjoy refreshments, wines and malts and a specially haunted Halloween cocktail! Tickets are limited! Order your advance admission online! Bring friends, family and a crowd for a hauntingly fun time.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
