---- — MERRIMAC, MA – The Merrimac Tool Company, Inc and Kramer Scientific LLC will host their third annual Pumpkin Chucking Fest to benefit Coastal Connections Inc. on Sun., October 14, from 1:00-5:00 p.m., at Amesbury Sports Park in Amesbury, MA.

The Pumpkin Chucking Fest event is a family oriented event fall festival featuring live music by “Don’t Call Me Shirley”, great food, face painting, an exotic animal encounter, bouncy houses, a train, games, raffles and of course, the award-winning Human Powered Pumpkin Catapult! Last year’s event was incredibly well received with over 2500 in attendance on a very windy day.

All proceeds raised will go to help support the programs of Coastal Connections, Inc.

Coastal Connections, Inc is a nonprofit organization that honors, embraces, supports and celebrates people with disabilities by creating dynamic programs which maximize abilities. The agency seeks to create an educational environment that promotes lifelong learning toward achieving full potential, enabling each person to become an essential part of their community.
