EXETER —The Exeter Brass Band will begin their summer concert series on Mon., July 1, at the Exeter Bandstand on Water Street in downtown Exeter. The next four concerts will be held on each following Monday July 8, 15, 22, and 29. Concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the Exeter Town Hall. The Brass Band will be conducted by Edward Flanigan, a long time member of the band.
The Exeter Brass Band is said to be the oldest Brass band in continuous service in the United States having been founded in 1847. Any questions, please call Charles H. MacDougall at 603-772-4967.
