---- — HAMPSTEAD —The Merrimack Valley Concert Band will perform in Meetinghouse Park on Tues., July 2 at 6:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Hampstead Cable TV Advisory Board, the concerts are free and held rain or shine in the field behind the Town Office Building at 11 Main St., in Hampstead.

The band helped usher in the Fourth of July last year with lively renditions of big band sound, jazz and swing tunes and a patriotic sing-along. Music lovers are invited to come and show their colors (red, white and blue) and be prepared to get into the spirit of the holiday.

Concerts will continue throughout the month of July with two additional in August. Among the performers will be All Together Now, Red Molly, Bluegrass Gospel Project, and Rico Barr. Watch for further schedule announcements.
