Growing Organic Berries

SANDOWN - The Sandown Garden Club will be hosting a program on “How to Grow Blueberries and Raspberries Using Organic Methods”. The presentation will be given by Ron Christie who is an Agricultural Resources Program Assistant for UNH Cooperative Extension and the Master Gardener Coordinator for Rockingham County.

Ron is also the creator of Living Earth Farm , a “Certified Organic” micro farm in Brookline, NH that grows and sells vegetables and herbs. He is passionate about teaching people how to grow their own nutritious food for better health and well being. The meeting will take place promptly at 7:00 p.m., on Mon., April 7, in the Sandown Recreation Center on Pheasant Run Drive.

The Sandown Garden Club is a non-profit organization and a member of both the New Hampshire Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Clubs, Inc. New members are always welcome and one need not be a resident to join. Please visit the Club’s website to learn more
