---- — NEWTON — The Town of Newton will hold a Rabies Clinic on Sat., March 22, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Central Fire Station on South Main Street, Newton. The clinic is open to all surrounding communities.

The cost is $10.00 (cash only) per animal. Dogs, cats, and ferrets are welcomed but all must be restrained in some manner. Vaccinations are being provided by Edgefield Veterinary and they are offering Microchip and registration for $25.00.

As a courtesy for Newton residents, dog licensing will be available. And, as always, donations of towels and blankets to the Newton Animal Shelter would be greatly appreciated.
