RAYMOND —The 17th annual Raymond 4th of July Parade will be stepping off at 9:30 a.m. on Thurs., July 4, rain or shine. The parade ends at the Raymond Common where there will be a short ceremony followed by free food and water, kids games and crafts, bounce houses, music, touch a military vehicle, and more! It’s a bring the family, and leave your wallet at home, no vendors allowed.
Horses, antique vehicles, walking groups, and others are welcome.
Line up is at 8:45 a.m., at ARGO’s on the corner of Epping Street and Rte. 27. The parade will then proceed down Epping Street to the Common.
This year, the Parade Marshall will be Frank Bishop, a nine term State Representative, who also served years as town selectman, and on other town committees, especially Conservation.
The ceremony invocation will be done by the new priest at St. Joseph Parish, Father Donald Clinton.
