---- — KINGSTON - Did you know that there were a total of 220 student athletes participating in the fall sports programs at Sanborn Regional High School (SRHS)? If you have a returning athlete or are a freshman parent of an athlete and are yet to become involved, come see what the Boosters are all about. The next meeting is scheduled for Thurs., November 15, at 7:00 p.m., in the high school library.
The Fall Athletic season is coming to a close and it is time to celebrate and award the athletes with their seasonal sports banquet. The Boosters will provide a pizza meal for every fall athlete consisting of pizza, salad, beverage and dessert on Mon., November 5, at 5:30 p.m., at the high school cafeteria, with the awards ceremony to follow in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. There is no charge for the athletes.
If family members would like to join their athlete for dinner, there is a charge of $5.00 for one slice of pizza, salad, beverage and dessert or $7.00 for two slices of pizza, salad, beverage and dessert per person. The awards that will be presented to the athletes on this night are all sponsored by the Athletic Boosters. There will be the ever famous Power Point presentation by Kevin Pillsbury with photos of each and every fall athlete, with each athlete taking home a packet of photos taken by Kevin of themselves, also sponsored by the Boosters.
Are you a parent of an athlete that would like to help with this event? If so, please contact Boosters President, Sheila Pierce, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Winter Sports season is soon to begin and the Boosters will be manning their indoor concessions for the home basketball games. They are looking for new volunteers to help at the games.
Please either contact Sheila Pierce or stop by at their next meeting for details.
