Easter Egg Hunt

KINGSTON — Kingston Recreation will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sun., March 24, 2:00 p.m. at the Kingston Town Hall, Main Street. There will be light refreshments, arts and crafts, and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny! Bring your own basket and hop on down and have some fun. This event is for Kingston residents (ages 1-10) only.

Too early to think about summer camp? No way! Kingston Recreation will have applications available for their eight-week summer program online and at Town Hall, beginning March 25. This year is sure to bring lots of fun and new activities. They will offer a Lego Camp the week of July 29, and all eight weeks are theme weeks! Sign up for Fear Factor Week, Gettin Dirty, Stars & Strips, Survivor, All Ball.. just to name a few. All activities during the week will be geared towards the theme. Camp is open to children entering grades 1-8. The cost of regular day camp is $80.00 per week. There will be additional charges for Lego Camp. They are also looking to offer Surf Camp (more information to follow).

The Recreation building is currently undergoing some renovations; an amazing kitchen and bathrooms are being installed.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
