KINGSTON —Due to overwhelming community support over the last few years and the continued difficult economic times, the Kingston Community Library is re-launching the Backpack Project, an initiative to help families in the community by donating backpacks and back to school items to students at Bakie School.
That’s where you come in! Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, markers are needed. But, you are not limited to those items only, anything you can think of that will be greatly appreciated.
Items can be dropped off at the Library during normal hours throughout the month of August (no later than August 23). Donated items will be brought to Bakie School and disseminated to students in need. Anything, great or small, will be welcome. Your generosity is deeply appreciated.
Kingston Community Library is located 2 Library Lane in Kingston. For more information, call 603- 642-3521, or visit www.kingston-library.org.
