'All My Sons' at Sanborn

KINGSTON —Sanborn Regional High School’s Drama Club will present ‘All My Sons’ by Arthur Miller on August 15 and 16, 7:00 p.m. at Sanborn High School Auditorium. It is a searing drama of a family’s dark secret amid the fleeting hopes that a son missing in action will come home.

An American masterpiece, All My Sons examines the relationships between fathers and sons, the price men pay for the American Dream, the moral and emotional scars of war, and human struggle for moral and legal conscience. A family drama that established Arthur Miller as a leading voice in the American theater, All My Sons takes the audience to a startling and heartbreaking conclusion.

Joe Keller and Steve Deever were partners in a machine shop during World War II that turned out defective airplane parts, causing the deaths of many men. Deever was sent to prison, while Keller escaped punishment and went on to enjoy both freedom and financial success. Years later, Joe’s surviving son Chris embarks on a love affair with Steve’s daughter, Ann, setting off a string of encounters and admissions that will change these two families forever.

Tickets only $5.00 per person and all active military and veterans get in for free. For tickets, please call Bridgette at 603-702-0473.
