Clarinet Quartet

EXETER —Exeter Public Library welcomes the Sea Reeds Clarinet Quartet to its sixth annual Summer Music Series on Tues., August 20, 3:00 p.m. The Sea Reeds Clarinet Quartet is currently composed of Joan Devittori, principal clarinetist with the Strafford Wind Symphony; Jack Kupp, retired music educator and pit musician for Hackmatack Playhouse & the Rochester Opera House; Dave Miller, music educator in the Maine R.S.U. 35 and member of the New Legacy Swing Band; and Bob Sinclair, retired Air Force musician, bass clarinetist with the Strafford Wind Symphony and clarinetist with Quint-Essential Winds. The Sea Reeds bring music to the greater seacoast community by performing at recitals, special events, retirement homes and assisted living facilities in Maine and New Hampshire. On August 20, the Sea Reeds will perform works by Beethoven, Bartok, Crusell, Gershwin, Joplin and other accomplished composers.

This performance is free and open to the public. It will take place in the Bruce Sloan Reading Area in the Adult Services section of the Exeter Public Library at 3:00 pm.
