BRENTWOOD – Take time out of your day on Sat., October 17, to come and see the vintage vehicles on the lawn of the Brentwood Historical Society Museum. They will be on display from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will be a chance to look inside them, check under the hoods, ask questions of the owners and hear their stories. There will also be an array of vintage accessories such as hand-operated horns, auto lamps, tire pumps and license plates.
In the past two years, visitors have seen vehicles such as a 1929 Model A Ford, a 1941 Lincoln Continental, a 1950 M37 Military Truck, a 1950 MG TD, a 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback, and many more. For information please call Doug Cowie, coordinator, 642-4157. The Museum is in the old Grange building at 140 Crawley Falls Road, Brentwood. All are welcome and there is no charge.
The Historical Society meets on the second Thursday of the month from March through November, at 7:30 p.m., in the Museum. The special programs, plus the regular exhibits of intriguing Brentwood toys, clothing, retail store items, record books and photographs, all make a visit to a Historical Society meeting a great break in your everyday pattern.
