HAMPSTEAD – The William Phillips & Son Automotive, LLC, 269 Stage Road (Route 121) in Hampstead will host a public “Customer Appreciation” Classic Car Meet on Sun., October 5, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The rain date is October 12.
There will be a DJ, burgers, hot dogs, and of course celebrities Elvis, the Blues Brothers and Marilyn!
Raffle donations were provided by Senters Auto Supply, Ram Printing, Auto Parts Intl., Snap on Tools, Palmer Gas, C&M Distributors, Betley Chev., Hannafords, Freshwater Farms, Envision Salon, East Coast Lumber, Hallmark Past & Present, Wm. Phillips & Son. The drawing will be held at 12:00 p.m.
The raffle this year is to benefit the family of John Lapham, who lost his battle with cancer, in June 2008, at the age of 39. He leaves a wife and two young children. John was a police officer in Hampstead, prior to accepting a midnight shift position with the Atkinson Police Department.
This event is totally non-profit for Phillips Automotive and all proceeds will go to the Cpl. John Lapham Fund, c/o TD Banknorth, Plaistow.
