Antique Day

BRENTWOOD – The Brentwood Historical Society is pleased to announce that it will sponsor an Antique & Heirloom Valuation Day on Sat., September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Dealers from Three Sisters Antiques of Kingston will be on hand to provide information and an opinion of value to people who want to learn more about their antiques and family heirlooms. The event will take place at the Historical Society Museum at 140 Crawley Falls Road, Brentwood.

Residents of Brentwood and neighboring towns are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity. For a donation of $5.00, you may submit three items for examination and information. There are no restrictions on what may be submitted – jewelry, paintings, china, crystal, figurines, sculpture, textiles, books, paper, furniture, anything that is of interest and importance to you will be examined in a friendly, welcoming and courteous atmosphere. The dealers will have reference materials available and special implements for examining at close range if necessary. Light refreshments will be available at no charge.

Save the date of September 27 to come and learn more about those items you’ve wondered about for years. For additional information call Alma Vahey, president of the Brentwood Historical Society, 679-8635, or Linda Rousseau, program chair, 772-4534.
