— EXETER – Get ready to set sail with the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce on Sat., September 13 for a Cocktail Reception at the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company in Portsmouth aboard the M/V Thomas Laighton. Boarding begins at 5:00 p.m. The boat will set sail to cruise the smooth waters of the Piscataqua River 5:30 pm. You will be cruising for 4 hours. All ship goers will enjoy a cash bar, and “heavy” hors d’oeuvres catered by Galley Hatch Catering.
Guests will be dancing throughout the evening to the Jumpstreet Band. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle in preparation for the 50th Anniversary of the Chamber.
Some silent auction items include: Boston Bruins autographed jersey, over-night stay at the MGM Grand, Signed baseball by Boston Red Sox starting Pitcher Tim Wakefield, Shopping and Dining Spree in Historic Downtown Exeter, and fully deeded time share at Cape Cod.
