The Sandown Old Home Days Committee is accepting letters of recommendation for “The Citizen of The Year” Award. This award will be presented at the August 11 Old Home Days celebration to a Sandown resident in recognition of their selflessness and goodwill.
Residents interested in making a nomination should write a letter outlining who they believe should be the next Citizen of the year and why. All additional resident signatures (must be 18+) included with the letter will be counted as votes for that person. Letters can be submitted in a sealed envelope at the Sandown Selectman’s Office or by mail to Sandown Old Home Days Committee PO Box 67, Sandown, NH 03873 Nominations must be postmarked or accepted no later than July 27, 2007.
