EPPING – Epping Cub Scout Pack 136 needs your help. Over $5,000.00 was allegedly embezzled from their treasury. This was money parents had paid for summer camp and other pack and council activities. Over $1,600.00 is owed to the council office to cover checks that were written with no funds to cover them. Until the Scouts can raise money to pay their bills they are limited to what they can give and do with the Cub Scouts.
The Epping Firefighters Association will host a Car Wash to benefit the Pack on Sat., July 11, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at the Fire Station. Donations will be accepted.
Joe Bodge, owner of Rose Lynn’s Ice Cream, located on Route 27 near All Star Speedway, will hold an Ice Cream Social on Sat., July 18, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. with a rain date of Sat., July 25. They will offer their full menu with ALL proceeds benefiting Pack 136.
