RAYMOND – Lamprey Health Care would like to invite local business owners to join them for a Raymond Area Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours on Tues., May 20, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at 128 State Route 27, Raymond.
In 1986, Lamprey Health Care built the center in Raymond and expanded the facility in 1996 to its present size of 14,000 square feet. Currently, the community health center is staffed by four family physicians, an OB/GYN, two nurse practitioners, and a physician’s assistant. All of these are supported by nurses, medical assistants, patient advocates, team coordinators, social workers, substance abuse counselor, diabetes educator, and a nutritionist.
The center provided primary care and health related services to over 6,000 patients from Raymond and surrounding communities in 2007. In addition to health care, the center also offers flu clinics, cooking classes, senior exercise programs and yoga classes that are open to the public as well as patients at Lamprey Health Care.
In 2001, the Healthy Smiles Dental Center, a dental operatory with two chairs, was added to the center to provide much-needed access to dental care for pediatric and prenatal patients. Lamprey Health Care also provides school-based dental education and screening services to eight participating school systems in the area.
Lamprey Health Care accepts most insurances but also provides primary care to small business owners and their employees based on a sliding fee scale to qualifying individuals. We are currently accepting new patients and are proud to serve the health care and dental needs of the greater Raymond area.
