ATKINSON – On Sat., May 17, Buzz Durkin’s Karate School will be sponsoring a Kick-a-thon for Atkinson Police Officer Corporal John Lapham and his family. This event is open to the community and all are encouraged to attend. Organizations supporting this event include, the Atkinson Fire Department, the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Department, and the New Hampshire State Police.
The Town’s newest fire truck will be on display, along with the Sheriff’s Department SWAT vehicle. Also, a canine demonstration will be given by Troop A of the New Hampshire State Police.
This event will be held at Buzz Durkin’s Karate School at 2 Commerce Drive in Atkinson. Refreshments will be served and there will surprises and raffles.
