EXETER – The Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce “Silver Screen “Sweeps” Night” Sweepstakes will be held on Fri., June 20, at the Elm Street Dining Hall located on Elm Street at Phillips Exeter Academy, from 5:30-9:00 p.m. The event is u underwritten by Foy Insurance with additional support from Al’s Automotive, Carriage Towne News, Crow Construction, D.F. Richard, and Waste Management.
A “Sweeps” ticket is $100.00 and it admits two people adults (under 18 will not be admitted) to the party. There will be dinner, Fabulous Prizes and Auction. The Phillips Exeter Academy Culinary team caters the party. Only 400 tickets will be sold with the chance to win $10,000 in cash and many more cash and premium prizes given out throughout the evening. It is a fun evening. If you can’t swing a ticket alone, get some friends and go in on one together.
There will be a South Africa Photo Safari for Two auctioned off as part of the Sweepstakes event. The safari includes 6 days/6 nights luxury accommodations, three meals per day and two daily open land rover trips with experienced guides in the Zulu Nyala Game reserve where the movie I Dreamed of Africa was filmed! The package does not include airfare, is non-transferable and must be used within two years of purchase date. There will be music from the Golden Ages, Celebrity Photo Booth and the Walk of Fame. Be careful because the paparazzi will be trying to capture every moment from the evening.
