Vendors, Supporters Wanted

— SANDOWN – The Sandown Old Home Days Committee is busy planning this year’s big event which will take place on Sat., August 9, at the Sandown Central School from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The committee is currently looking for area vendors, community organizations and businesses that are interested in selling their products or services at this event. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your specialty. There is a $25.00 fee for a 10’ x 10’ space which will be assigned on a first come first served basis. The committee encourages Sandown community organizations to use this event as an opportunity to help raise funds for your group while providing a service for your community.
They are looking for groups interested in organizing and running creative games, family activities or groups that can provide ride attendants. The committee is also looking for bands and entertainment for the day of the event so if you’re a performer and would like to be considered please contact Paula Martin, entertainment chairperson, at 887-6688 or l.landlady@comcast.net. And of course they welcome all individuals that would like to participate in the annual parade and are looking for floats, bands and marchers.
