SANDOWN - The Sandown Old Home Days Committee is looking for individuals interested in helping with the upcoming Old Home Days celebration being held on Saturday August 9th. They are currently planning the event and would like to invite you to attend any of the upcoming meetings.
The Committee streamlined the event process by establishing sub-committees. This has reduced the amount of meetings and individual responsibilities and allows you to choose the part of the event you’d like to help with. Volunteering is a very rewarding experience and a great way to connect with your community and make some new friends. The committee meetings will be held in the lower level of the Sandown Town Hall on April 28, June 2, July 7, July 21, and August 4, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Why not plan to attend at least one meeting to find out the many opportunities available and how you can help.
If you’d like more information about being part of this wonderful team please feel free to contact Tanya Violette, committee chair, at 887-7960 or tnkviolette@comcast.net. If you feel you can’t commit to being a committee member and attending meetings but would still like to be involved with the Old Home Days celebration, that’s great because we are also looking for volunteers that want to help only on the day of the event. For more information about being part of this event team please contact Donna Martin, site coordinator, at 887-0784 or trooperflash@comcast.net. So join the fun and become an Old Home Days volunteer!
