PACE Luncheon

— PLAISTOW – Plaistow Area Commerce Exchange (P.A.C.E.) will hold their May meeting on Thurs., May 8, 11:30 a.m. at Rick’s Cafe & Grille in Kingston.
The guest speaker will be Lucy Paine Keezer of Kingston, Lucy is an expert in writing and in public speaking. A former editor, advertising creative director, professional photographer, and manager in book publishing; Lucy has for twelve years been a trainer and coach in writing and public speaking. She also does performance speaking, sometimes incorporating a few “magic” routines. Lucy has been a staff member at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, at M.I.T., and with the publishers Houghton Mifflin and West Publishing. From the late 1990s into 2003 she was a columnist and photographer for the Seacoast Newspapers; column series head: Common Ground. To learn more about her work, visit www.KezarTraining.com. Lucy, her husband, and their two now-grown sons moved to Kingston in 1979. They live on the Kingston “Plains,” within walking distance of our May meeting. Lucy looks forward to meeting you at that meeting. She will offer suggestions for improving communication skills.
Dinner choices include London Broil (Asian marinated, served with classic mashed potatoes); Bay Scallops sautéed with garden vegetables in a garlic-lemon sauce over linguini or Grilled Chicken Salad (served atop a bed of field greens with cottage cheese, garden vegetables, fresh fruit and finished with a drizzle of Balsamic reduction. Dessert will be Apple Crisp topped with fresh whipped cream. There will also be a coffee and soda station.
The cost is $15.00 per person.
