HAMPSTEAD – Kids young and old, it’s time to get super!

Put on your super-suit, if you’ve got one, and come to the Hampstead Public Library on Sat., September 29, at 12:00 noon, for a matinee showing of the superhero film “The Avengers”. The library will provide snacks to help keep up your super-strength, while you watch Thor, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America and the Hulk battle Loki and save the world. This film will be shown on our fantastic new screen with surround sound, in the library’s second floor meeting room.

BOOKS FOR BREAKFAST - Books for Breakfast returns to the Hampstead Public Library on Sat., October 13, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. This program is designed to give families more time together. The library will have crafts, books to share, and delicious breakfast foods. On October 13th, we’ll also have special guests, Miss Laura and Miss Gloria, from the Hazel Drive Early Childhood Center. They will be doing fun play dough activities with the children. Make the library part of your weekend routine by joining us at Books for Breakfast on the second and fourth Saturday morning of each month. Everyone who attends will have a chance to win a great prize. This program series is made possible by a grant from Target.
