---- — STRATHAM – The Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham will present Napoleon’s Battle of the Nile: The Birth of Modern Museums, a program by anthropologist and ethnomusicologist Beverly Connolly on Tues., October 2 at 6:30 p.m. This fascinating presentation will show how the loss of the Battle of the Nile by Napoleon and his troops led to the founding of the Egyptian Academy, the beginning of the science of Egyptology, and the birth of the modern museum.
