---- — NEWTON — The month of October brings in seasonal cooler weather, perfect for activities such as home cooking and reading with an engaging book! We are happy to provide programs and resources to accommodate both of these requests.
Chef Arnold Joy returns to the Gale Library on Wed., October 23 at 6:00 p.m. to present education and food samplings from the region of Hawaii. Delicious dishes such as, marinated tuna, Polynesian salad, fried spam sushi, and bananas in a fried crust will be prepared and served. Seats are filling fast; however, there are still some openings left. A sign-up sheet is located at the front circulation desk. The fee to attend is $5.00 payable by Fri., October 11, to purchase the necessary grocery items.
Morning Book Review will meet on Wed., October 16 for their monthly meeting. Members discuss their latest read along with a light morning snack and coffee. New members are always welcome to join us!
The next Genealogy Club meeting is scheduled for Wed., October 16 at 1:00 p.m. Historical information and research topics will be the subjects of discussion. Join us to share your story!
