---- — HAMPSTEAD - Excitement is building as more and more donations pour in for the Friends of the Hampstead Public Library Auction on Fri., November 15. The Granite Rose will be the place to be for those who want to find a special holiday gift or perhaps some unusual stocking stuffers. It’s also where you’ll find really important and helpful things such as the Estate Planning Package for two that includes wills, durable power of attorney and advance directives. If you haven’t made your wills yet or need to update them, think about bidding for this exceptional package.

There are already a number of interesting paintings and prints that might enhance your décor. One of these is a print of Marshall Street in Boston featuring the oldest brick building still standing in the city as well as the famed Union Oyster House. Another is a wood carving of a wreath, perfect for the holidays. All the art work will be on display so you can enter your bids in the silent auction.

The live auction will offer a variety of themed baskets for your bidding pleasure. The popular balloon pop returns with many more balloons. A balloon costs only $10.00 and you are guaranteed a prize of a bare minimum value of $15.00 or much, much more. Raffle opportunities feature both a 50/50 raffle and a $100.00 gift card. There will also be a few items of Boston related sports memorabilia up for bid.

Tickets for the Auction are now on sale at the library and at the TDBank on Main St. They are only $35.00 each and give you not only the chance to place the winning bid for something special for the holidays but also a full sit-down family style dinner featuring turkey and all the fixings and the free photo booth.

Now is the time to save the date and gather a group of family, friends or co-workers to attend the event of the year in Hampstead. The ticket price covers the cost of the site and the meal but does not represent any profit to the Friends. The proceeds realized from the Auction itself all go to help support your public library by enabling the Friends to purchase many things that fall outside the regular library budget. Museum passes, electronic equipment, the AED and so much more have been made possible thanks to the Friends of the Library. So buy your tickets now and show how much you care about your library and your town.
