Great Services at EKPL

EAST KINGSTON — East Kingston Library patrons can access a rich supply of databases through the library website, www.eastkingstonlibrary.org.

From the library website you can choose the tab called “services”. There you will find a number of databases. EBSCO is one excellent resource not only for students working on research projects but also a great way for adults to find new authors or titles in their particular areas of interest. Through EBSCO’s Novelist, you can search by genre, style or even pace. This is a great way to find new and interesting discoveries tailored to your taste. Stop in to pick up a brochure listing all our database services and passwords.

We also offer Ancestory.com for patrons but, it needs to be accessed at the library. Explore your family tree and a wealth of primary documents from our public access computers.

If you register at the main desk for a pin number, you can reserve popular titles in our collection from home. We also have deliveries twice a week for inter-library loan titles. If any library in the state has the title you are look for, we can borrow it for you.

The library pass program to local museums is another popular service. From the Peabody Essex in Salem, MA to the Currier Museum in Manchester, there are a number of great exhibits coming this fall. Perhaps you would like to visit little known gems like the Fells or book your pass to the Museum of Science in Boston.

Take advantage of all the great resources from the East Kingston Public Library.
