The Friends of the Library will be selling York’s Wild Kingdom Tickets again this summer for just $13.00. Tickets are regularly priced $21.25 for adults, you save $8.25 and children 4-12 at $16.25 for a savings of $3.25! Come to the library to get your tickets today!
Every day it’s 90 degrees or above, the library will automatically show movies in our program room from 12:00-6:00 p.m., offering popcorn and lemonade. Stop in and cool down! If we already have a program going on that day movies will be shown in the small conference room.
All ages and levels are invited to “Walk Into Summer” on Mondays and Wednesdays, through June 26 at 8:30 a.m. We will be walking with Leslie Sansone. You set your own pace and decide how long you want to walk. Plus we will be inside an air-conditioned room!
If you’ve read “Harry Potter” or “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, then the “Kane Chronicles”, by Rick Riordan, is probably the next book series you should read. It’s got magic, ancient Egyptian gods, and adventure! Join Miss Sue on alternate Tuesdays during the Summer Reading Program to dig into the Kane Chronicles! Signup is required! Please do so by June 14! (because we need to order books). Pick up the first book on Tues., June 25.
