Kimball Library News

ATKINSON — On Thurs., June 27, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., we will ‘DIG’ the Toe Jam Puppet Band (all ages) Summer Reading Program Kick-Off! Bring your family and friends and join us on the patio lawn for live entertainment. This particular show does not demand registration, nor do you have to be a resident to take part. In case of inclement weather, we’ll go to Atkinson Academy.

General registration for all summer reading programs begins on June 17. It will be faster and easier for you to register or collect prizes if you don’t do it immediately before or after one of our busy activities. We want to give you our full attention during registration or prize collection.

For the next several months we’ll be highlighting up and coming summer reading events. Please refer to our website or library calendar icon for more information. Don’t hesitate to call us or ask questions about any of the many activities. Do note that we are continuing to offer summer classes for babies to age 2 (Mother Goose on the Loose), children ages 2-3 (Bitty Books) and preschoolers age 3-6 (Kiddie Lit). Register in advance for those classes now.

All ages are reminded to stop by for some lovely summer tunes right in our patio area on Thurs., June 20, at 6:30 p.m. We are fortunate to have the fine musicians of the Timberlane Community Band. The concert will take place in the library courtyard. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music! *If there is a chance of rain, the TCB will make a decision by 4:00 p.m. to cancel the show.

For more information or a list of upcoming programs, please visit our website www.kimballlibrary.com, call 603-362-5234, or email us at staff@kimballlibrary.com. We encourage you to ‘like’ us on Facebook/KimballLibrary.Atkinson.NH, follow us on Twitter/KimballLibrary, and RSS feed our blog - http://kimballlibrary.blogspot.com. Also, get news directly sent to your inbox twice a month. Please ask us if you are interested. This is an efficient way to stay abreast of the newest events.
