East Kingston Library News

EAST KINGSTON —Once again the award-winning Friends of the East Kingston Public Library have been busy planning a schedule filled with food, fun and opportunities to support your library.

The Red Iguana will earmark a portion of its lunch and dinner sales to the library on Tues., February 5, starting at 11:00 a.m. What a great way to banish the winter blues with a spicy snack. Check out their extensive menu at www.therediguananh.com, and meet your family and friends for a south of the border style treat.

Don’t forget your sweetheart! If you are looking for an unique Valentine’s Day event why not Swing & Sway the Night Away on Sat., February 16, 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the East Kingston Elementary School. Dust off those dancing shoes and join in the fun with an instructor from www.fitnessballroom.com. Learn some new moves on the dance floor and visit a tempting dessert buffet. Tickets are $15.00 per person available at the East Kingston Public Library or $18.00 at the door.
