EPPING —Adult Craft Classes have returned to the Harvey-Mitchell Memorial Library! The HMML’s long-time friend and crafter, Dona Camara has returned to the east coast and is preparing to lead monthly craft classes on Saturday afternoons beginning at 2:00 pm. On Sat., January 26 she will be making beaded stretch bracelets and lovely Valentine’s Day cards. In February, she will be leading a workshop to make 8”x10” watercolor paintings of New Hampshire’s state tree, the paper birch. Each of these workshops will cost $5.00 per person for materials, with payment and registration required prior to the date of the class. With no school in Epping on Fri., February 8, the HMML will celebrate the re-release of Disney’s “Peter Pan” by showing the classic animated feature at 1:00 in the children’s room. Pajama Night will start that same evening at 6:30 p.m. with “Off to Neverland” for its theme. Families with children ages 2-8 are invited to wear their PJs and bring a snack to share for crafts, a scavenger hunt through ‘Neverland’ and songs and stories with Miss Tracie at the end of the evening.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
