---- — EAST KINGSTON — Spring has brought a fresh crop of outstanding fiction and non-fiction to the East Kingston Public Library. There truly is something for every taste. Visit the two front towers or check out the display on top of the center shelving. You will find new titles by James Patterson, Vince Flynn and Iris Johansen for mystery and adventure with a sharp edge.

“In Touch and Go”, Lisa Gardner explores the facade of the “perfect” family. Amazon describes the storyline like this: “When investigator Tessa Leoni arrives at the crime scene in the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and Taser confetti in the foyer. The family appears to have been abducted, with only a pile of their most personal possessions remaining behind. No witnesses, no ransom demands, no motive. Just an entire family, vanished without a trace.”This story with a Boston setting will keep you guessing until you reach the final page.

We also have new releases by Anne Rivers Siddons, Joyce Carol Oates and Stephen Frey. Linda Barnes’ new novel is “The Perfect Ghost”.

DVDs of many of this year’s Oscar winners and nominees are in. You can enjoy Life of Pi, Beasts of the Southern Wild and Lincoln, as well as the best of drama and series from PBS and BBC. If you have missed any episodes of Downtown Abbey now is your chance to catch up.
