---- — KINGSTON — Don’t miss Family Movie Night on Fri., April 26, 5:30 p.m. in the library meeting room for screening of “Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away”, rated PG and popcorn!

Due to staff training, the Library will open at 12:00 p.m. on Mon., April 29.

Stop by the library throughout the month of April to view feature photographs by Kingston resident Kevin Daniel Talbot. View Kingston landscapes and of flora and fauna. You don’t want to miss these amazing photographs from our amazing town!

Preschool story time continues on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Join us on May 2 as we learn about being kind to animals with an assortment of animal pictures to paint, decorate, and take home to love.

The NH Humanities Council will present “The Harriet Wilson Project: Harriet Wilson’s Our Nig” on Thurs., May 9, at 6:30 p.m. Harriet Wilson, the first African American to publish a novel in the U.S., grew up in Milford. Scholar Barbara White will share with us Harriet’s self-told story of life in New Hampshire as a free African American bound as an indentured servant during the American Civil War.

Mark your calendar for Sat., May 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the Friends of the Library’s first annual Plant Sale! And between 12:00-1:00 p.m. join the celebration of the First Anniversary of the opening Kingston Community Library! Stay tuned for details!
