---- — KENSINGTON — We had a fun American Girl Tea Party last Saturday where we kicked off our “American Girl Lending Program.” Those interested in borrowing this American Girl doll should contact the library. Kit’s excited to start a new adventure each time she is loaned out. She will bring along her first book, a journal and of course every girl needs a hair brush!

PRESCHOOL STORY HOUR—Join Ms. Lindsey for stories and a craft on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:30. We will not have storytime during vacation week…April 22-26.

TUESDAY BOOK DISCUSSION- Our next book club will be on Tues., April 30 when we will discuss “Serena” by Ron Rash. The movie, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, will be out in theatres in September. Copies of the book (also audio and e-book) are available at the Library. Join us to discuss the book.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH-This month we are displaying the paintings of local artist, Mary Jane Solomon. Mary Jane is a member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the Seacoast Artists Association. She exhibits regularly at the SAA Gallery on 225 Water Street in Exeter, where she also acts as assistant gallery director.

BRENDAN DUBOIS TALK –Local author, Dubois, will be at the Library on Tues., May 7 at 6:30 to talk about his wonderful mystery series starring Lewis Cole and will read from the new book he is working on.
