Hampstead Library News

HAMPSTEAD —Hampstead Public Library welcomes scholar J. Dennis Robinson on Tues., August 13 at 7:00 p.m. He will give a talk on archaeological treasures found in New England particularly in the Isles of Shoals area. Archaeologist Nathan Hamilton has unearthed 300,000 artifacts to date; his scientific “digs” on Smuttynose Island are changing New England history. Presenter and longtime Smuttynose steward, J. Dennis Robinson, explores the truth behind the romantic legends in this colorful show-and-tell presentation. This event is sponsored by the New Hampshire Humanities Council.
