---- — KINGSTON - Mark your calendar for Sat., May 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for the Friends of the Library’s First Annual Plant Sale, featuring organic herbs and vegetables. And between 12:00-1:00 p.m., join the celebration of the First Anniversary of the opening Kingston Community Library (there will be cake)!
The Friends are generously sponsoring a museum admission reimbursement program. What does that mean? It means that instead of getting a discount to only the museums we have passes for, you can get a discount at any museum or zoo. Purchase admission tickets at the regular price at the time of the visit, fill out the reimbursement form you can pick up at the library, include a copy of the ticket receipt, and bring form and receipt to the library. A reimbursement check will be mailed to the patron within two weeks. Reimbursement is limited to 50% of the ticket price, up to $20.00 per family group visit. Amusement and theme parks are not covered.
Do you get magazines sent you your home? Do you get special subscription offers to send free or discounted subscriptions to friends? Well why not send one to the Library? We receive several magazines thanks to the generosity of your fellow community members who sign us up for a gift subscription. If you are interested in sending the library a free or gift subscription, just give us a call at 642-3521. The Library and your community members thank you!
