KINGSTON — Members of the NH Fish & Game Department will host Black Bear Happenings in NH on Mon., November 26 at 6:00 p.m. Learn about the natural history of NH Black Bears and current research and management activities in New Hampshire.

Stop in and check out the Fall book display, featuring everything from Thanksgiving cookbooks to New England travel books.

Looking for Holiday gift ideas? Why not an author signed copy of an award-winning novel? Welcome local highland romance author, Sandy Blair on Tues., December 4 at 6:30 p.m. She will share how she was able to go from a physician to an successful writer. Sandy will also be selling and signing copies of her books.

Friday Fun continues all November in the Children’s Room with Faerie Houses on November 16 at 3:30 p.m. and Family Movie Night with Toy Story on Fri., November 30 at 5:30 p.m.

Just a reminder! The library will close on Wed., November 21 at 2:00 p.m. and closed on Thurs., November 22 for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

The Children’s room is the place to be this month with Pre-school Story Time on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. with Ms. Karen.

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
