KINGSTON —Stop by the library for a screening of Monuments Men (rated PG-13) on Fri., June 13 at 5:30 p.m. Pizza will be provided. If means allow, please bring a potluck snack to share. Please register!

Get ready for summer on Creative Craft Saturday! Stop in to tie dye T-shirts and custom-design flip-flops on Sat., June 14 at 10:00 a.m. Bring your own white T-shirt and a pair of flip-flops. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. Sign up is required. Space is limited.

Come join some of our amazing local mystery writers for a group discussion on Wed., June 18 at 7:00 p.m. Writers include Brendan DuBois, Edth Maxwell (Tace Baker), Susan Oleksiw, Amy Ray and J.E. Seymour.

Taking time to have a regular family night is a great way to create lasting memories. This month, we will watch The LEGO Movie (rated PG) on Fri., June 27 at 5:30 p.m. Please bring a potluck snack to share. Pizza will be provided.

The Summer Reading Program will take place from July 7 through August 15. Reading groups include: Fizz, Boom, Read! (Early Literacy, K-5), Spark a Reaction! (Teen), and Literary Elements (Adult). You can sign up any time after 10:00 a.m. on Mon., July 7. Registration and reading logs for K-5, Teen, and Adult are online this year and you can find links starting July 7 on our website, http://www.kingston-library.org. Record the minutes you spent reading to earn prizes and raffle tickets. Enter your raffle tickets for weekly prizes and the grand prize. Share your thoughts on the books you read, browse reviews and book lists by other readers.

Story time fun continues! Book Babies, a story time for children ages 0-36 months meets every Monday at 10:30 a.m. Preschool Story Time is on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 3 to 5. Check the children’s web page for updates or schedule changes.
